KEELER TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office reports that a missing man who suffers from dementia has been found safe.
Raphael “Ray” Wiggington, 83, was last seen at around 7:45 p.m. on Sunday leaving his home on Cherry Lane in Keeler Township. He was going to pick up his wife several blocks from their residence, but never showed up.
Sheriff Dale Gribler says that Wiggington was found pulled over on the Indiana Toll Road near South Bend. Troopers from the Indiana State Police made contact with him and found the alert sent out by Van Buren County that he was listed as missing and endangered.
Wiggington has been reunited with family.
