HOLLAND, Mich. – A robbery that occurred at a Family Fare Quick Stop in Holland Saturday night is currently under investigation.
At approximately 10:25 p.m. yesterday evening, the Holland Department of Public Safety was called to the Family Fare Quick Stop located on the 1000 block of S. Washington in Holland in response to an armed robbery.
The investigation showed that the suspect entered the building and demanded the clerk to give him all of the money in the cash register.
Police say that the clerk did not see a weapon but that the suspect implied he was based on the placement of his hand inside of his sweatshirt.
The suspect then fled on foot.
A K-9 was called to the scene but was able to only track the suspect for a short distance.
The suspect is described as being a White or Hispanic male in his mid-20s with a thin build.
Police report the suspect was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a black cloth or bandana concealing his face.
