GRAND RAPIDS – The U.S. Marshals Western Michigan Fugitive Task Force says a viewer tip helped lead to the arrest of a fugitive featured on West Michigan’s Most Wanted earlier this month.
37-year-old Alex Cruz was taken into custody by Task Force officers on Thursday in the Grand Rapids area without incident.
Cruz was wanted on a bench warrant for failing to appear in court on a weapons violation. His criminal record also includes prior offenses including assault, burglary, robbery, weapons and drugs.
