MUSKEGON – A fugitive with a track record of violent behavior who had been on the run for several months is now back in custody.
Jermese Hutcherson was arrested Thursday morning after a U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force Officer spotted him riding in a vehicle in Muskegon.
Marked law enforcement units assisted Task Force officers with a traffic stop shortly after, locating Hutcherson hiding in the back seat of the vehicle.
Hutcherson was featured on West Michigan’s Most Wanted in Aprilafter running from law enforcement following a traffic stop in Muskegon Heights in January 2015.
Hutcherson’s last conviction was larceny from a vehicle, but his criminal history also includes an arrest for felony assault on a police officer along with drug possession.
