West Michigan – The forecast into the weekend calls for dry weather for the area, but it’s going to be a “close call”.
A storm system will travel into the Ohio Valley by Friday afternoon with rain spreading into Illinois and Indiana. A few showers may sneak into the extreme southwest Michigan.
Rain will spread into southeast Michigan for Saturday afternoon with heavy rain possible. Right now, it looks like the rain will stay east of US 131.
Sunday will be dry with partly to mostly sunny skies for West Michigan. Another cold front will approach the Great Lakes with showers and thunderstorms for Sunday night. The “exact track” of the storm system is uncertain at this time, so the forecast may change over the next 24 hours.
