MUSKEGON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- A 21-year-old pregnant woman was found stabbed to death in a Muskegon Township apartment Tuesday morning.
According to to Muskegon Township Police, Dominique LaShay O'Neal was found dead in the 700 block of Quail Court. Her unborn child also died, police said.
Police were called to the scene at approximately 4:55 a.m. when her boyfriend called to report O'Neal's death.
Family members of O'Neal tell FOX 17 that she was in the Army and also worked at the Lake Woods retirement home in Muskegon as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She has two other children, a 2-year-old son and a 9-month-old girl.
According to the Muskegon Township Chief of Police, O'Neal's 22-year-old boyfriend Jamari Williams is considered a person of interest in the case.
