KENT COUNTY, Mich. — Roughly 4,699 people were without power in Kent County Monday after severe weather caused scattered outages in the area.
According to Consumers Energy, the largest outage was on Grand Rapids’ West Side, with roughly 2,825 without power around John Ball Zoo. The estimated time of restoration is 5:30 p.m.
A large area east of Burton and Division Avenue in Wyoming also left roughly 1,312 without power. There is currently no estimated time of restoration for that outage.
There are more scattered outages south of 28th Street. Many of them are east of US-131.
