Car rolls over and hits pole, two injured

GRAND RAPIDS TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Two people suffered unknown injuries early Friday morning, after their car rolled over and ended up crashing into a utility pole.

It happened at 1:30 a.m. on M-21 (Fulton St. E) just West of I-96 in Grand Rapids Township.  According to ambulance dispatchers, the caller who reported the crash said two people were unresponsive at the scene.  When crews arrived, the victims were conscious, but it took a while to get them out of the vehicle and off to the hospital.

Their conditions are unknown at this time.  It is not clear what led up to the crash.
