MUSKEGON, Mich. -- A five-year-old boy with Duchenne muscular dystrophy got his wish of becoming a fireman Tuesday.
Chase was sworn in at the North Muskegon Fire Department Tuesday morning thanks to an effort from the Make-A-Wish Michigan organization and the Muskegon County community.
Chase also toured the City of Muskegon Fire Department and the Muskegon Township Fire Station. He put out a live pan fire and visited the 911 center before having lunch with firefighters at the G&L Greek Chili Dogs.
