TYRONE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A person was killed Saturday after the ATV they were driving collided with a car.
The ATV rider was traveling west on 20 Mile Road NW just after 10:00 p.m. when they failed to stop their vehicle at a stop sign in the road. The ATV went through the stop sign and struck a vehicle that was driving south on Red Pine Drive NW.
The driver of the ATV was killed in the crash. Deputies say they believe alcohol was a factor in the incident.
The Kent County Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the crash.
