RICHLAND TWP, Mich. – More than 1,000 people are without power in Richland Township after two trees toppled over a power line at N. 35th St. and East CD avenue.

The outage occurred around 7:10 p.m. after severe weather slammed through parts of Calhoun, Kalamazoo, and Barry counties.

Multiple agencies are working together to help get the power back on. Consumers energy tells Fox 17 power should be back on by 3 a.m. Sunday morning.
