GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- It's safe to say Grand Rapids FC has already found a fan base.
The new Tier 5 soccer franchise playing its first season in the Great Lakes Premier League drew with Force FC (Bloomfied Hills) 2-2 on Friday night in front of 5,012 fans at Houseman Field.
It was the third-ever home game for GRFC, who have seen big jumps in attendance with every match.
Their home debut on May 30 was seen by 2,409 supporters. Their second game on June 5 saw 3,843 in attendance.
GRFC's next home game is June 27 at 7:30 p.m. against Lansing United.
