Richard Scholten – Kent Co. Jail
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – A convicted “sexual delinquent” is awaiting trial for allegedly flashing a woman at a Meijer last winter.
Richard Scholten has been convicted before, in 2006, for exposing himself and masturbating in front of a hair salon in Caledonia. This time the 63-year-old allegedly exposed himself at the Cascade Meijer in February.
The woman said Scholten walked in front of her car and pulled his pants down. He told police he was trying to pull his keys out of his pocket.
He is being held on $25,000 bond.
