GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Aurelias Jualious Marshall was found guilty Monday of first-degree murder in the 1990 death of Joel Battaglia.
Joel Battaglia was beaten to death in the Eastown neighborhood on a summer evening. Marshall, 56,was arrested in 2014and charged with perjury in the case, along with three others.
In January, Marshall was charged with murder.
Battaglia was robbed and beaten to death on Lake Drive SE.
