BIG RAPIDS TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 17-year-old woman and her 2-year-old passenger were injured after their vehicle collided head-on with another Saturday, deputies say.
The crash happened just after 1:00 p.m. near the intersection of Grass Lake Rd. and 190th ave. Deputies say the 17-year-old woman from Stanwood was driving eastbound on Grass Lake Rd, while a 30-year-old man from Big Rapids was traveling westbound.
Both vehicles were traveling up opposite sides of a hill in the road. When they reached the top, their vehicles collided head-on.
The woman’s vehicle was overturned in the collision. The woman and her 2-year-old passenger were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The 30-year-old driver in the other vehicle, along with his passenger, were not injured.
