GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The 2015 Movies in the Park series kicks off Friday night in downtown Grand Rapids with Steven Spielberg’s E.T.
The movie will be shown on a three-story high screen at Ah-Nab-Awen Park by the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum. Activities begin at 7:00pm with food vendors, a photo booth with E.T., face painting and play areas (for kids and adults), music, prizes, raffles and giveaways. At 7:30pm, the GR Vintage Bicycle Club will lead an E.T.-themed bike ride. The movie will be shown at dark.
Downtown Grand Rapids, Inc.advises for people to arrive early as the park does fill up. Also, you can bring your own beer or wine, but you must have a picture ID.
The series will continue on many Friday nights through the summer.
