CASCADE, Mich. – West Michigan will soon be home to a metro Detroit Coney dog icon.

Leo’s Coney Island will be opening their first West Michigan location in late July in the Cascade Crossings location on 28th Street SE.

The first Leo’s Coney Island was opened in 1972 by brother duo Peter and Leo Stassinopoulos, both immigrants from Greece, in Southfield, Michigan.  The restaurant will feature Coney dogs and Greek specialties.

More than 50 positions will be hired for the restaurant.
