HARTFORD, Mich. — A 23-year-old man was hit by a train and killed Monday in Hartford.
The incident happened at roughly 11:20 a.m. on the railroad tracks just east of 65th Street, according to a release from Michigan State Police. The man was walking east and hit by a westbound freight train.
Police said the train’s horn went off several times, but the man was wearing earbuds and did not react. His name has not yet been released.
