West Michigan – A slow moving cold front will bring a wet start to the weekend and some cooler temperatures.
The cold front will be into the northern part of lower Michigan by early Saturday morning with showers from Grand Rapids northward.
The front will slip through the Grand Rapids area around noon on Saturday with widespread rain and an isolated thunderstorm over West Michigan. No severe weather is expected.
The rain will diminish to showers by mid to late afternoon Saturday as the cold front moves south of the state. High temperatures on Saturday will remain in the 60’s under mostly cloudy skies.
Sunday looks much better with mostly sunny skies, except some clouds along I-94. It will stay cool with highs again only in the 60’s
