GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Grand Rapids Police and the Michigan Liquor Control Commission have launched an investigation into illegal gambling in Kent County, targeting Putt Putt's Bar on West Fulton in Grand Rapids and the homes of several people suspected to be involved.
According to a press release from Grand Rapids Police on Wednesday, several sites--including the bar--were raided May 19 after police obtained search warrants for the properties.
GRPD is not releasing much information at this point, but says so far no one has been arrested. However, police say arrests in this case are likely imminent. A spokesman for GRPD says the investigation began after they received a tip.
