CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich.–Two people were injured after a car turned into the path of a motorcycle Saturday, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies said the crash took place in the 5000 block of Old US 27 in Tekonsha Township. Apparently, a northbound vehicle turned into the path of a southbound motorcycle, throwing the 53-year-old male driver and his 48-year-old female passenger. Officials said both were seriously injured in the crash.
At last check, the sheriff’s office said the woman is in critical condition at a local hospital.
The driver of the car was apparently taken to a local hospital, but refused treatment.
Calhoun County deputies said the crash remains under investigation.
