DETROIT, Mich. — A massive tanker fire shut down both lanes of I-75 in Detroit following a spill Sunday morning.
Michigan Department of Transportation says the fire was put out as of 10:20 a.m. but that the highway would remained closed for cleanup and further assessment by the department. As of 10:35 a.m., MDOT said no serious injuries had been reported in the incident.
MDOT suggests checking back with their Mi Drive map for updates on the incident and closure updates.
