HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 25-year-old man fell asleep at the wheel and caused a two-vehicle rollover crash on US-31 Tuesday morning, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department.
The crash happened at about 8:16 a.m. on southbound US-31 and Riley Street.
Deputies say a 25-year-old Muskegon man was driving on US-31 when he fell asleep and crashed into a vehicle that was stopped at a traffic light.
The stopped vehicle, driven by a 54-year-old Holland woman, went into the median and rolled over, officials said. The woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The other driver was not injured.
