NEW YORK CITY — A 25-year-old Kalamazoo native who was reported missing in late April has been found safe.
Landon Edward Thomas was reported missing April 30 after vanishing while preparing to move into a new apartment in New York City.
Thomas’ brother Troy Gilleylen, a Battle Creek Police Officer, announced that Thomas had been found in a Facebook post late Sunday night. Gilleylen said they plan on driving back to Kalamazoo.
At the time of Thomas’ disappearance, Gilleylen said that he just vanished, and left all of his personal belongings behind.
No other details about Thomas’ case have been released, and his family is asking for privacy at this time.
