KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Kalamazoo Public Safety officers are looking for two men following an armed robbery at a Kalamazoo Speedway gas station Sunday. Officers were called to the gas station in the 3900 block of S. Westnedge Ave. around 3:25 a.m.
A clerk said that two men had entered the store with a gun and demanded money. Police say an undetermined amount of cash was taken by the men. The clerk was not injured during the incident.
A K-9 unit with the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety was able to track the suspects but ultimately was not able to locate them.
Officers describe the first suspect as a man around six feet tall, with a heavy build, and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with dark pants on, and a bandanna on his face.
The second suspect is being described as a shorter male, with a thin build, and wearing a bandanna on his face.
