BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Two people are facing multiple felony charges, after police say they broke into a home, assaulted a man inside, and stole items as well as a pickup truck.
It happened at around 2:40 a.m. on Monday in the 200 block of Waubascon Road in Battle Creek. Officers say after the man and woman assaulted the resident, stole his truck, and left, the victim was able to give police a lead as to where the suspects may be located.
Police were then able to locate both the man and the woman in the are of North Ave and Coolidge Ave. They had some of the stolen property with them, and officers would later recover the victim’s stolen truck about a mile away.
Both suspects were arrested without further incident.
