GRAND HAVEN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 91-year-old woman died Monday after a two-vehicle crash on US-31 at the Comstock Street intersection.
According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened at about 12:33 p.m. when Nancy King, 60, of Fruitport turned left in front of a northbound vehicle.
King’s mother, Doris Hartwick, was riding in the front seat and died following the crash. Officials said she was not wearing a seatbelt.
The driver of the other vehicle, 36-year-old Abbie Deverney of Grand Haven, and King were both injured but are currently in stable condition.
