YANKEE SPRINGS TOWNSHIP, Mich.– Michigan State Police and Wayland police discovered a large-scale marijuana grow in a Barry County home Saturday.
State troopers said they were investigating an assault from a road rage incident from earlier in the day, where an elderly man was hurt. When they went to the suspect’s home, they said they could smell marijuana coming from inside.
After searching the home, authorities said they found 36 plants, as well as guns.
The suspect was arrested for assault charges. It’s unknown what charges will be filed relating to the drugs.
