ISABELLA COUNTY, Mich. — A former deputy with the Isabella County Sheriff’s Department is facing numerous sexual assault charges.
According to a Friday press release, Kevin Eugene Dush is facing eight total charges, including four criminal sexual conduct charges.
Dush was arrested Friday and faces the following charges: three counts of third degree criminal sexual conduct, one count of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct, one count of extortion and one count of attempted bribery, one count of misconduct in office and one count of felony firearm.
A victim came forward with the initial allegations in September 2014, and Dush resigned before being questioned, according to a release.
During the investigation additional victims came forward, officials said in a release. The case was then forwarded to a special prosecutor, Michelle Ambrozaitis with the Clare County Prosecutor’s Office, who authorized the charges against Dush.
