KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A suspicious package found behind a synagogue at midday Friday “turned out to be nothing,” according to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
At 11:30 a.m. Friday, Kalamazoo Public Safety responded to a report of a suspicious package that had been discovered behind the Congregation of Moses synagogue at 2501 Stadium Drive.
Officers were on the scene for more than an hour. The investigation revealed that the package was actually a box of pamphlets that had been dropped off in the middle of the night for church-goers.
