BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department deputies went to a Battle Creek parking lot on a report of illegal drug activity. What they found there was a meth lab in a car.

Deputies answered the call around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, and when they found the suspect vehicle and its two occupants in the lot at Capital Avenue at Columbia Avenue, they found “an active methamphetamine lab as well as finished meth products,” said a department release.

The vehicle occupants, a 22-year-old Galesburg woman and a 33-year-old Battle Creek man, were arrested.
