Crash sends one person to the hospital in Georgetown Township

GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — One person was hurt following a crash Monday afternoon.

Police say it happened around 1:00 p.m. on Cottonwood Drive near Baldwin Street in Georgetown Township.

According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department a 62-year-old woman from Hudsonville was traveling north on Cottonwood lane when she tried to turn left into a driveway. That’s when the woman struck a vehicle driven by a 71-year-old Grandville woman. Her passenger, a 75-year-old woman, also from Grandville was taken to the hospital where she was listed in stable condition.

No one else was hurt.
