PORTAGE, Mich. — A missing 90-year-old Portage man was found Friday night.
RD Lindsay Forshee, 90, was found at about 10 p.m. in McHenry County, Ill. The Portage Department of Public Safety said he was in good health and will be reunited with his family.
Forshee had been reported missing early Friday by Portage Public Safety. He was last seen at about 5:22 a.m. Friday morning traveling northbound on Portage Road near Centre Avenue, according to a police press release. He is driving a gray 1995 Lincoln Town Car with Michigan plate 7074E2.
Prior to that, police say he left his home at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday to go to the McDonald’s located at 5296 S. 9th St. near I-94. He contacted his wife at about 12:52 a.m. and told her he was in Three Rivers. Later, he talked with police at about 2:15 a.m. near the intersection of Oakland Drive and Shaver Road.
Police say he told them he was on his way home but never arrived.
Forshee is described in a press release as 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing tan-colored corduroy pants, a plaid shirt and a baseball cap.
According to a press release, Forshee is currently on medication for heart issues but does not have the medication with him.
