GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids city officials said in a release Thursday that damage estimates for the fire at the historic Oliver Machinery Company building exceed $1.5 million.
The 100-year-old building, located at 1025 Clancy NE, caught fire April 12. According to a release, investigators have still not been able to access the old building because of the threat of further collapse.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
