GRAND HAVEN, Mich. — A 31-year-old Grand Haven man will be charged with a felony after officials say he admitted to stalking a 17-year-old girl for several months.
According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department, the suspect was arrested at about 6:30 a.m. in Blendon Township. Investigators say they received a suspicious vehicle report in the area of 96th Avenue and Port Sheldon Road and later stopped the man for questioning.
The man allegedly confessed to investigators that he used binoculars to watch a 17-year-old girl through the windows of a home for several months. He never made contact with the teen, officials said.
Officials say the man is facing a felony charge of stalking a minor. He will be identified pending formal arraignment.
