WYOMING, Mich. — A Subway restaurant in Wyoming was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday morning, and police are looking for the person responsible.
According to a release, the robbery happened at about 7:13 a.m. at the restaurant located at 3501 S. Division Ave. A man allegedly entered the restaurant armed with a handgun, took an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot.
A police dog tracked the suspect to the area of 35th Street and Reiser SW, but then lost the trail, police said. The suspect was described in a release as a black male between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants and black, thick-rolled wool hat.
Police say after the robbery the man may have been picked up in a white or light colored two-door sedan.
