Suspect sought after Cash Advance store robbery

NILES – Deputies with the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office have released surveillance images of an armed robbery suspect who’s wanted after an incident in Niles Township on Tuesday.

Investigators say a male in his early 20’s entered the Approved Cash Advance store at 1950 South 11th Street in Niles Township at approximately 10:25 a.m. armed with a small handgun.

The suspect is approximately 6’0″, 175 pounds, last seen wearing a black colored hooded sweatshirt, black pants and a baseball cap.

The suspect confronted two employees shortly after going inside, demanding money.  After grabbing cash from the store he left, though it’s unknown at this time if the suspect left the scene on foot or got into a vehicle.
