HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, Mich.–Deputies arrested an accused drunk driver after a rollover crash Friday night.

The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office was called to a crash on CR 358 near 72nd Ave. around 8:45 p.m. Witnesses said a woman, 34, was driving over the center line for about two miles before crashing. After rolling her vehicle, the driver apparently continued driving for another three miles.

Deputies said a couple of Good Samaritans originally saw the crash and turned around to help. When they saw the car drive away, the witnesses apparently drove after it, honking their horn until she stopped.

The driver had a blood alcohol level of .13, according to the sheriff’s office. She was taken to the Van Buren County Jail.

No injuries were reported in the crash.
