Money box stolen from disabled Girl Scout selling cookies

LANSING – The Lansing Police Department needs your help identifying a theft suspect after a money-box was stolen from a Kmart on the city’s south end on Sunday.

According to the police department’s Facebook page, the suspect took a money-box that was in place to help a disabled Girl Scout selling cookies.

The suspect was last seen getting into a black Dodge Dakota extended cab heading north on Cedar Street.

Investigators say those that wish to assist the family with donations can contact the Girl Scout office at 1223 Turner Street, Suite 200 in Lansing in care of “Raven”.
