KENT COUNTY, Mich. — The body found in the Grand River Saturday afternoon has been identified by Grand Rapids Police as that of Timothy Groenhout.
Groenhout, 39, was reported missing Jan. 24.
A fisherman near the shoreline at Millennium Park discovered Groenhout’s body at about 4 p.m.
Police said his cause of death appears to be drowning, but are still waiting for toxicology results to make an official determination.
