West Michigan – A quick moving storm system will bring the chance of some light accumulations of snow to the area on Sunday. The snow will be mixed with rain and should only accumulate on the grass due to the warmer air temperatures.
A rain/snow mix should move into West Michigan by late morning or early afternoon Sunday. Temperatures will be in the mid-upper 30s, so the best chance snowfall will be north and northwest of Grand Rapids.
As cold colder air wraps around the system we will see a better chance of snow by mid to late afternoon. The rain and snow will end by early evening. Areas north and northwest of Grand Rapids could see several inches of wet snow with the remainder of West Michigan just a trace.
