SYRACUSE, NY --  A month ago, Michigan State's NCAA Tournament outlook was bleak.

Even after a strong finish and entering the tournament as a seven-seed in the East region, the Spartans were expected to be knocked out in the first weekend.

Clearly, people forget what Tom Izzo does in March.

Michigan State is now considered a favorite to make a run to the Final Four after two impressive wins to get to a fourth straight Sweet 16.
