MUSKEGON, Mich. — The 28-year-old woman who officials say stabbed and killed her husband was formally charged Monday.
According to Muskegon County Chief Assistant Prosecutor Timothy Maat, Angela Renee Kelsey-Mahoney was charged with open murder and is currently being held on a $5 million bond.
Police responded to a home in the 400 block of Isabella Avenue at about 4:45 a.m. Saturday, where they found a 35-year-old man who had been stabbed in the chest. He was taken to the hospital and died later that day.
Officials say Kelsey-Mahoney stabbed him during a domestic dispute. No other details about the incident have been released.
