GRAND RAPIDS, Mich — Police say a man is dead following an early morning shooting at a Chicken Coop restaurant.
Police responded around 2:45 a.m. Sunday to reports of a shooting that allegedly took place at the Chicken Coop located between Hall and Division on Grand Rapid’s South East side. Initial information suggests that there was an altercation inside the restaurant that eventually moved out into the parking lot where the shooting occurred, police say.
Authorities say the victim is a 32-year-old man from Grand Rapids. He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
