GAINES TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A man is recovering from multiple stab wounds after allegedly getting in a knife fight with his friend.
Police responded to the area of South Division and Gaines Street on a report of someone being stabbed. When they arrived on scene, deputies found a 30-year-old man with several stab wounds, saying he had received them from a fight with a friend.
The victim told police that both men had knives on them during the knife fight in which he was stabbed several times.
The injured man was transported to a local hospital.
The case remains under investigation by the Kent County Sheriff’s Department.
