HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries following a crash Friday afternoon.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department said it happened around 5:45 p.m. on Lakewood Blvd. at River Avenue in Holland Township.
A 54-year-old man from Holland pulled out from a private drive on Lakewood when he struck another vehicle. Police said there was a solid line of cars and another driver waved him through. When the man pulled out he did not see the oncoming vehicle and was hit.
The other driver, a 54-year-old Holland man was not hurt.
