More than a thousand jobs available at GRCC spring job fair

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.– More than 1,000 positions are available for job seekers to discover during the spring job fair at Grand Rapids Community College Tuesday, March 17.

Sixty companies, with openings ranging from teacher to mobile crane operator will be featured during the event, which runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first floor and parking level of the Wisner-Bottrall Applied Technology Center at 151 Fountain St. NE. The job fair is open to GRCC students, alumni and the community.

Employers that are scheduled to attend include Walker Tool & Die Inc., Camp Tall Turf, Fox Motors and Mercy Health, among others.

Organizers encourage applicants to view the list of employers and some research before attending. Prepare a 20-30 second introduction to use with employers, dress professionally and bring a resume.
