GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — It’s one of the most sought after beers that comes from Beer City, USA: KBS Week kicks off Monday at Founders Brewing Company.
Past releases of Kentucky Breakfast Stout have caused online ticket software to crash, and every year people line up outside Founders and brew pubs to get just a few ounces of the stuff.
Monday is the first chance to get the latest batch, and there are tappings scheduled at local bars every night of the week.
HopCat, the Score, and Logan’s Alley will tap their kegs of KBS on Monday, March 9.
Tuesday, March 10, will be Monelli’s, Resevoir Lounge and Uccello’s.
Wednesday, March 11 will be SpeakEZLounge, Big Bob’s Pizza and The Cottage Bar.
Thursday, March 12 will be The Winchester, Brann’s in Grandville and Peppinos.
Friday, March 13 will be O’Toole’s, Last Chance Tavern and Grill and The Meanwhile.
Saturday, March 14, Founders will hold it’s popular taproom draft release. Tickets sold out a while ago.
