GRAND HAVEN, Mich. — Officers with the Grand Haven Department of Public Safety are conducting a death investigation after responding to a medical emergency call Monday afternoon in the 1000 block of Sheldon Street.
At 4:56 p.m. Monday, officers responded to the scene and upon arriving found the body of a deceased 68-year-old man. Circumstances at the scene dictated a full investigation, including scene processing.
Once the investigation is complete, a final determination will be made regarding the man’s death.
Grand Haven Director of Public Safety Jeff Hawke said there is no ongoing threat to the neighborhood or area.
The Michigan State Police are assisting Grand Haven Public Safety with the investigation.
