INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Six people are facing federal charges aftertwo teenage siblings were abducted at gunpoint Monday from an Indianapolis home.
According to FOX 59, United State Attorney Josh Minkler announced that all six face conspiracy to commit kidnapping charges.
Those suspects are:
- John Thomas
- Bernando Reeves
- Ali Hussain Ashore
- Mohammed Karkash
- April Sandell
- Alaa Al-Salehi
One of the teenagers, 16-year-old Aaron Blackwell, was located in Michigan after the abduction. He was found bound inside a suspect vehicle after a high-speed chase in Detroit.
Aaron’s sister, 13-year-old Emma Blackwell, was still missing at the time, but someone later dropped her off at her home in Indianapolis.
According to FOX 59, the two teens were kidnapped as part of a drug dispute. They report that the teens’ older sister is believed to have stolen in excess of $30,000 worth of money and drugs from a Detroit man. The sources say investigators are trying to determine if that man sent a trio of gunmen in search of the sister, and found the teenagers instead.
